Choosing your recessed spotlights according to the parts

Choose your recessed spot for the right room
You have chosen to embed a spot or spots for your apartment or house. And there everything is complicated ... which spot to choose? After some explanations, you will see more clearly on which to choose without being mistaken to light your rooms as needed.

Although many design lamps and luminaires fill the e-ray in terms of choice, the recessed spotlight is surely needed both as mood lighting, localized and decorative. Recessed spots are discreet and aesthetic. They blend in the decorations, library, staircase, kitchen, and ceiling and adapt to all the decor!
Play with your recessed spotlights with as much light and orientation so the moods will be adaptable. The recessed spot does not encumber the space and may be practical for low ceilings.

All types of spotlights and their sources:

There is the recessed spot: fixed, adjustable and telescopic declined in the round, square and rectangular with several lights. The materials used for the structures are steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Recessed spotlights are powered by several light sources: LED downlight, 12V (220V) halogen recessed spot, compact fluorescent recessed spot (low consumption) or an incandescent source.

LED downlight:

The LED spotlight has much more to light your home or apartment for the next 30 years to live! On a functional, ecological, energetic and therefore economic level, the led spot is resistant to shocks and time. In addition, the led spot does not heat, so it allows better adaptation to decorative furniture and false ceilings.
Where to put them: kitchen, hallway, toilet, bedroom, dressing room, etc.

12 volt (Very Low Voltage, TBT) halogen downlight with the transformer or 220 volts:

The 12v spot and the 220v spot are spotlights that consume the most energy and give off heat depending on the location. The scattered light remains the closest to natural light with a good color rendition. The spotlight transformer 12v increases the operating temperature and thus it allows to have a higher intensity than the 220v. A TBT spot must be equipped with one or more transformers (depending on the watts) positioned in a place with a little space for ventilation. Thanks to the transformer, the TBT spot allows the use of most dimmers to vary the moods.
TBT spots must be installed in bathrooms or near water points where here standards are strict.
Calculation of the number of spots per transformer: Example for 2 spots of 35w, you multiply the number of light by the watt 35w x 2 = 70w, you will need a transformer of 70w or two transfer of 35w each at least.
Where to put them: bathroom, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, living room, w c, dressing room, etc.

Fluorescent recessed spotlight:

The recessed spot is energy efficient and the little worry of the ignition time progresses significantly with the Quick Start compact fluorescent lamp system. The compact fluorescent spot does not heat because 80% of its energy produced turns into light and 20% into heat which makes it such a secure spot. The luminaire is particularly suitable for rooms that need to be lit for a long time: the dining room or the living room, or a teenager's room if it stays long enough illuminated. For passage areas such as toilets or the corridor, another light source will be more suitable as the halogen. If the place of installation is planned for a low-ceiling or under furniture of the kitchen, check that your skull will be more than 30cm of the pellets releasing electromagnetic waves.
The installation of a flue-compact spot is a simple mains connection.

Where to put them: kitchen, dining room and living room, room according to the utility.
